We need to fuel our bodies properly to support our jam-packed teenage lives. By learning balanced nutritional strategies, we teens can stay focused, reduce disease risk, prevent weight-related problems, grow properly, and develop healthy habits that we will keep all throughout adulthood.

Many teens struggle with their eating habits, whether that means restricting themselves, not receiving adequate nutrients, consuming high-sugar drinks often, or eating a diet high in fat. Additionally, many teens are also uneducated about nutritional foods. According to 'Pediatrics in Review’, only 50% of teens who had preventative care visits received anticipatory guidance on healthy eating.
